This is Bruce Friedman of Adult Site Broker and welcome to Adult Site Broker Talk where each week we interview one of the movers and shakers of the adult industry and we give you a tip on buying and selling websites. This week we’ll be speaking with Anthony Rivera of the LAL Expo and AJ Studios. We’ve added an event section on our website. There you can find out about all the B2B events in our industry and there are discounts on selected shows. Go to adultsidebroker.com to find out more. Speaking of events, I’ll be at the XBiz LA show January 13th through the 16th and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there and talking some business. Contact me on our website to book a meeting at adultsidebroker.com. To register for the show, go to xbizla.com and I’m proud to announce I’ve been nominated for Community Figure of the Year at the XBiz Executive Awards as part of XBiz Honors January 15th. It should be an exciting night and I hope to see you there. Now time for our property of the week that’s for sale at Adult Site Broker. We’re proud to offer a diverse and adult themed social network and dating site for trans women and admirers. The site was established two years ago to provide a discreet adult space for trans women and men who love to chat, share photos and videos and make friends. This niche category, while large, still has room to grow unlike many others that are oversaturated. This is evident in the site’s growth since it opened. The site’s owners left no details unchecked when setting up their content filtration system to mimic that of X to enhance privacy while minimizing liability on adult content. After their price increase, the site’s members have happily continued to pay more. All traffic is direct with the bulk coming from X and Instagram. This is a true turnkey operation that requires minimal upkeep and expense. The site uses an advanced script that has been highly customized and remains easily changeable so the options are endless. There’s an advanced payment gateway for CC Bill, among several other options. There’s even the ability to pay with Bitcoin. One person can run the site, no team is needed. It’s on course to earn six figures in 2025. Only $210,000. Now time for this week’s interview. My guest today on Adult Site Broker Talk is Anthony Rivera of AJ Studios and the LAL Expo. Anthony, thanks for being back with us on Adult Site Broker Talk. Hey, Bruce. I’m always happy to be back. Love your podcast. Thank you, sir. It’s nice to have a fan. So let’s tell everybody about you. Anthony is co-founder of AJ Studios, the leading supplier of cam models in Latin America with more than 3,000 models working seven days a week, 365 days a year. They are Latin America’s most awarded cam company and the biggest studio partner worldwide for five top cam networks. Anthony also has the webcam lab. It’s a 24,000 square foot facility with the first outsourcing service center for the adult industry in the world. Currently, the webcam lab has a network of over 600 affiliate studios. Anthony is also the founding partner of LAL Expo. Since 2014, LAL Expo has brought together the most important companies in the online adult entertainment sector every year, becoming a key hub for the industry thanks to the massive participation of national and international attendees. This year is the 10th edition of the conference. Congratulations, my friend. You made it. We didn’t always know that would happen. It’s going to be held in Cali, Colombia from February the 23rd to the 26th at the Vallée Dell Pacifico Convention Center. I probably really fucked that up. With each edition, LAL Expo attracts a diverse global audience offering unparalleled networking opportunities, enriching experiences, business growth potential, and valuable connections. In 2024, LAL Expo welcomed over 5,000 attendees from more than 40 countries. The 10th edition is expected to be the biggest and most exciting yet. You’re expecting more than 5,000, huh? Yep. More than 5,500. That’s our goal. 10%? Not bad. Especially when you get to that point. Anthony, what motivated you originally to create LAL Expo? Well, 10 years ago, the industry in Colombia was, you could say, where they were like in the beginning stages. So there wasn’t many opportunities or platforms to receive comprehensive trainings and how to do things the right way. So not only specifically on the content side, but also on the legal financial aspects. So after traveling myself to several industry events around the world and meeting with various industry representatives, I got the idea, we need to have our own show in Latin America. So 10 years ago, we started, which is a small room, was a small conference for 500 people. That was our first show. Then I saw the opportunity to grow the market. And now in Colombia, it’s among top industries, I’m sorry, top countries in the industry, do the number of active models and country creators we have. So I mean, more than 10 years now, we have 10 times the number of attendees that we had in our first edition. That’s amazing. That’s absolute. Congratulations to you and your team, by the way, how you guys have been able to do what you’ve done. It’s really a modern day success story. Thank you. Thank you. Especially with all the pushback you’ve had from the government agencies and the like. I mean, it hasn’t been easy. Yeah, it’s been a challenge. It hasn’t been an easy road. Like government and all the adverse media and the feminist groups and the church. We have a quite of a hate, they call that like not a fan club, but hate. Hey, club. Yeah. I was at the ultimate difficult one where you actually got shut down. Do you want to tell that story? Yeah. Not one of my favorite memories. No. One of my favorite memories. Yeah, that was basically we became a political smoke screen for the current mayor at that time, the city of Cartagena. He was going through a lot of negative stuff, a lot of corrupt stories and stuff that he was dealing with. So he kind of saw us as an opportunity to kind of diverse the attention away from all his shit and try to play the whole savior and saying that he was not going to allow like porn convention and bunch of degenerates visit his city and all his crazy stuff, which at the end, you know, he didn’t even have no idea what our event is about. Nor did he care. It’s strictly a business event. Yeah. Yeah. So he wasn’t able to do anything to the legal aspect. Like he wasn’t able to cancel the actual event like an illegal way. So he ended up just the second day. The event just blocking the entrance to the convention center and sending the police. That was there. It was quite a scene. But there was a happy ending, which was a week after this whole happened with us. He got arrested. I remember. I think he’s still having a good time in jail. I’m sure Colombian prisons are lovely this time of year. Yeah. I’ve never been to one. So I can’t talk personally in experience. I’m sure he’s very popular. I think it’s awesome. I think it’s awesome. Yeah, I was there and I remember it was it was quite an experience and I felt so bad for you because you had this wonderful event and God, I was just blown away walking through this is my first time there walking through the convention center and seeing everything that was going on. I had never seen a show this big. I don’t think I’d seen the show. I would say I’ve only seen one show that’s probably as well put together and that’s test and that’s really high praise as you probably know. Man, it was amazing. And then to see what happened, it was just like, okay, well, we had a good time anyway and you were able to salvage things, having some events at the hotel, some nice lunches and things like that. So hey, it was still a really nice experience and boy, did you recover. Man. Yeah, yeah, we had to improvise a little bit at the end. We were able to figure some stuff around, do some finalize some presentations at the hotel and we were actually able to do the award show and the closing party at the convention center, which we had to do. Yeah, I remember. So at the end, yeah, it was a hiccup. But yeah, that’s when we went back to Cali. I remember. Yes, Cardi Hange. Oh, quite a place. So after all these years, what’s been the most memorable moment for you? Maybe other than what we just talked about. Well, I mean, each event holds good memories in general. The first one, as we just discussed, we’re a little bit harder just starting and learning as we went. But I always remember, in each event, we learn from each event. So there’s always learning lessons. But the most memorable, I mean, last year, well, last year, not this year, I’m sorry, our last event, which was this year, 2024, March. So this year, the last day of the event actually considered it with my birthday. And yeah, my wife surprised me on the main stage, the closing party, over 5,000 people singing happy birthday. That was pretty awkward. Nice. You got quite a wife. She’s as sweet as she is beautiful. And boy, she beautiful. So LALXPO has been a landmark event in the adult entertainment industry. What do you think sets this event apart from others in the business? Well, our event brings together a wide variety of companies. I mean, we provide a space for everyone involved to participate, everyone in the industry, which I think that could be like a difference compared to other events. There are more focus only on platforms and only affiliates. So you know, LALXPO, we have platforms, studios, lingerie, toy companies, payment providers, knowledge distributors, architects, even professionals from the medical field such as dentists, surgeons, and we also have participation of government entities. So you know, all this diverse group coming together in one place makes it easy for the models and attendees to find basically all the information they need and all the knowledge they need, you know, the environment, faster, valuable connections. So yeah, our main focus is networking and learning opportunities. The attendees can take away from the event. Try to make sure people come with a mark, networking aspect and learning. Okay. How do you think the industry is going to evolve in the upcoming years? Well, I think the technological advances are growing rapidly, like the speed of, you know, where we live in today now with all the AI, virtual reality. I think that’s going to push, you know, not only the industry, but the world to adapt to something entirely new. So and of course, and the content creation is a webcam industry. It’s not going to be apart from that. I also think that the people, society in general, starting to view our industry as a legitimate peer. So the stigma and the taboo surrounding are not as strong as they were once. And over time, I think they will continue to diminish. So the shift opens doors for collaboration and creates more opportunities for growth. Okay. What’s your take on all of the age verification stuff that’s going on? Well, I think we have to find like a middle, middle ground, you know, the middle, with all the regulators and governments are trying basically to try to push this loss. They’re doing it from their perspective, you know, and they don’t really understand very well the industry. So I think it’s just a matter of negotiating and finding middle ground to make it sure where it meets the expectations, you know, it meets the government and the regulatory expectations, but it also doesn’t affect our industry. Well, in order to do that, though, they’ve got to invite us to the table. And so far, that has not been the case. What ends up happening is laws are passed, lawsuits are filed by the Free Speech Coalition or some other entity, and things get challenged. They go to the Supreme Court. So far, it’s just been a legal mess. And really the only participation we’ve had is legally. Yeah. I mean, in Colombia, it’s a bit like we created for many years ago, so like a trade association is called Asocia. So in our case, we try to keep, you know, we’re always monitoring any potential regulations that could affect the industry. In our early stage, we try to do the lobby and, you know, reach out to the legislators. So far, it’s worked well. That’s the case for Colombia. You know, I can’t talk about the US. I know the US. The US is complicated. I always say everything is complicated in the US. Sure. Appearance to Colombia. Ain’t that the truth. Well, and most of these politicians, they’re not doing this for the kids. They will say it’s for the kids, but they’re doing it to hurt us to get rid of porn. And that doesn’t just affect the US companies. That affects everyone. I mean, let’s face it, you know, your CAM Studios. Yeah, our user base are global. Yeah. So, yeah, it does affect everyone, like just about everything that happens in the US. So have you considered expanding LAL Expo to international markets? Well, we’ve already done this with our workshops and the VIP events. So we, with the workshops, we’ve been to Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and with the VIP event, we’ve been to Curacao and Dominican Republic. So these are formats, you know, events that we have a smaller format in our Colombia and Main Expo. But each one, it’s kind of, it’s been, I could say, a success and it’s been a unique experience for us, you know, learning about those cultures and recognizing the different ways the industry works in those different regions. So yeah, that’s actually one of our goals to keep expanding. And, you know, we decided this year to focus, well, this year and next year to focus on our main event. So we didn’t do the workshops. We did only the VIP event. But next year, yeah, we’re just, you know, we’re just waiting for the timing to be right. We see a lot of potential in other markets in Latin America, more in the content side than the campsite. So that’s what we found with our workshops. It’s the, like, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, they’re huge on when it comes to content creators, you know, only fans and fan platforms. And actually the camps is more niche. So we’re actually adapting to that scenario for those countries. And this year, one of the new things we did was this year we started, it’s part of the main event, but we have a one day, which we call it a flexible content day, and it’s dedicated to content creation. So we want to start, you know, getting more close to that community. And, you know, once we grow that community, then we might, you know, go again to these other markets. We see this, that’s the main niche growing there. Do you see a large LAL expo happening anywhere than where it’s happening now in the coming years? Not a large, as I mentioned, like we might keep like doing smaller format events. But, you know, at the end of the day, LAL expo, it’s 70% camps, you know, that’s our biggest focus. And Columbia, it’s the main hub, you know, for it. And I mean, maybe we decide to go to, I don’t know, Europe, Romania, but yeah, that’s too far away, you know. The farthest we have plans to go is the US, which we’re going to do our US edition in 2020, and then, you know, COVID hit and fucked up all the plans. Yeah, and Romania already has a couple of very well established shows. Correctly, yeah. Yeah. Besides the content day, what’s new in the 10th edition of the show? Well, I mean, as I mentioned, every edition has been bigger than the last. So we’re planning some amazing experiences, so we’re carefully selecting like very high value speakers. So we usually focus, you know, on bringing big names from the industry. So like all the top camp girls, creators, agencies. And also we also bring in some guest speakers outside the industry, but can share some knowledge to be useful for the show. So we usually bring in like, like famous influencers or actresses, actors. So we’re, we’re working on that right now. We’re having like, like, have like a really nice lineup of speakers industry wise and not industry wise. And also our parties, which we’re very, very famous for our parties. So we’re putting a lot of effort into making our parties super special, having like, like top global artists, a lot of other surprises. So yeah, so basically we’re mostly focusing on the educational aspect and on the fun aspect. Are you going to have any kind of a theme for the 10th edition? Not actually, no, not really. There’s like a specific team, no, like as I mentioned, we have, we’re going to still grow into content day, so the content creation, which we’re focusing a lot of effort into that. But other than that, no, no special team. Okay. So given the events growth, how do you expect LEL Expo 2025 to surpass previous editions in reaching participation? Well, as I mentioned, we’re always aiming to grow. So for this edition, our expectation is over 5,500 attendees and also increase more than international presence or more international attendance. And as I mentioned, one way for that is attracting new top speakers and parties. Okay. So what’s the next step after the 10th edition for LEL Expo? Well, I think keep expanding as I mentioned, both in terms of geographic reach and diversity of our offering of the events. So we’re always looking to grow partnerships, you know, evolve more international brands, influencers, yeah, and open up like just like now we’re focusing on the content creation, but depending on what trend we see the industry is going towards to, we might give some more focus on those specific trends and niches. Okay. So and you’re doing that with the content creation? Yeah, like right now our focus, you know, it’s content creation, grow that reach with that community. Sure. I would imagine that Columbia is a very big market for only fans such those types of platforms. It is, but it’s still not as big as camps. It’s still as more of a niche market compared to camps, but it’s growing and we see it’s going to continue to grow a lot. So that’s why we want to be in a good position and offer a lot of expo to be a very valuable event for that community as well. Do you see the content creation growing a lot in Columbia in the upcoming years? I do. Is your company other than LAL Expo getting involved in that? Yeah, we have an agency actually is called Vival View. We do a content management focus on helping the girls do all their content management and also the sales, the chatting. And we usually team up with other marketing agencies for the traffic and the marketing part. Interesting. How long has that been going on and how’s it going? We’ve been going on for one year. It’s going well. It’s small, but we’re growing it slowly. I mean, we’re learning as well because it’s very, content is so different than webcams. I mean, people might think, "Oh, yeah, I’m very same thing," but no. It’s very, very, very different angle. So we’re kind of learning basically with the new project. And as I mentioned, we decided just to focus on what we know better, which is content management and let the marketing for other companies. Yeah. And to me, with the base of models you have, I would think that that would just be a natural to manage their content creation. Yeah. Yeah. It’s not like a huge percentage that crosses over. It’s more of a niche because that’s when we first, there’s only fans and these fansites started popping up and getting a lot of strength. Initially we were kind of scared, "Okay, is this going to hurt our industry? Is this going to kill the studios?" But what we saw is that only fans basically has brought in the acceptance and visibility of adult content creation in general. So it has brought in more audience. It has brought in more users. While it brings in for content, then a lot of those users also get familiar with cam sites and cam models. But we actually see it as a positive phenomenon for us. And many webcam models use OnlyFans as an additional platform to diversify their income. And they love the flexibility to create with the subscription model, et cetera. But still, the users, the one find that interactive experience, they’re only finding the cams. They’re not going to find the fansites. That’s very true. But I mean, what OnlyFans and other platforms like OnlyFans has done is it’s brought so many more performers to the industry. At the same time, it’s brought a lot more customers to the industry. And that’s got to help live cams, right? Yeah, now, again, we’ve seen it as something positive. You’ve seen it as something positive and it’s two different niches. Like, usually the girl, the model that likes to do cams, is good at cams. She can maybe do a little bit of OnlyFans, as I mentioned, as an additional revenue stream. But we haven’t seen like, oh, they’re quitting cams and moving straight to content. There are cases, yeah, because I would say like there are models if we found a better fit it with content science, they just stopped doing cams. But that’s a very small percentage. It’s just two different audiences and two different same thing, two different talents. You know, certain girls are fit for cams, certain girls are fit for content, fan sites. Sure. But you guys are certainly in a position to train them on both avenues. Yeah, that’s the idea. Exactly. So you’re also very much invested in the webcam industry with your studio. What’s your take on the health of webcams in 2025? Well, one trend that we’re seeing a lot as I guess indirectly, it has to do a lot with the OnlyFans, this type of a fans, fans sites, is the webcam models are becoming more independent. So that has significantly impacted the role in the importance of traditional webcam studios. So you know, models are having increasing accessibility to technology and platforms are now being more open and allowing models to operate independently. Naturally studios are agencies. So the models basically are having to reduce the dependency in studios. They’re preferring the flexibility of working from home, which you know, that doesn’t happen when they work for a studio because they’re set, you know, shifts and rules. So basically what we’re seeing is that especially the cam, you know, the cam agencies, cam studios, they have to adapt to this new model autonomy trend. So you know, studios now it’s not sufficient just to have like badass locations and the best computers and nice decoration. Now, like now they have to include like, like other added values like professional development for the girls, you know, super high quality support marketing services. So yeah, so that’s a big trend. I kind of overseen it a few years ago that that’s why I started moving like with the AJ studios, like we used to be strong with physical studios. Now we have shifted more to the satellite model business. So like actually biggest part of AJ studios is the network of models that work from home, but we support them, you know, they again, they want to have the independence, they want to have the flexibility, but they still want to know there’s somebody behind them, support them to help them and anything they need any issues they run into. They want to know they have somebody to go to. So we kind of saw that trend coming a few years ago and we started shifting about focusing in more and not independent, but we call them satellite models, you know, models that work from home. Sure, virtual, yeah, which is a high percentage of the cam models in the world right now. Yeah. And the conditions change, you know, I mean, nowadays, you know, 10 years ago for a model to afford living in her own apartment, but herself like a young age that wasn’t so feasible or getting like a super good fiber optic internet, like a residential property was in the pot. So there’s a lot of things that have changed it has made conditions easier for models to be able to work from home. Has the infrastructure in Columbia gotten a lot better? Yes, yes, it has. It certainly has in Thailand. Is president hasn’t is not helping a lot this new one, but in general, you know, it has. It’s a shame when you’ve got politicians that aren’t very advanced. Yeah. But yeah, in general, no, we feel good as a country as a whole. There’s been a lot of improvements. Have you lost a lot of your of your cam models to them just going out and doing it on their own at home? No, because as I mentioned before, like so in general, and it still happens, like the majority of cam studios, they see it as a as a trend. Oh, a model wants to go work from home. Like what am I, if you have a model brings that up, you know what, you just leave and I don’t want nothing to do with you. And that’s it. They terminate your relationship. You know, instead of doing that, like we told them, OK, you want to work from home. OK, we’ll help you. What do you need? So we kind of try to work with them. And that way they still remain affiliated to the company. You know, of course, we make it also attractive. So we bump the percentage big time, you know, versus working from a studio, working from home. So we try to put together a system where we make the girls feel like they have their independence, but they have the support and the help, you know, one of the company like ours. So like a percentage of models, they’re working from home to decide maybe for some reason, oh, no, you know, I don’t even want to be a satellite model, but I want to be 100% independent. In our case, we haven’t seen it. They feel comfortable with the services that we offer them and support. How do you guys set yourselves apart from other studios in Columbia? I’ve seen recently some negative publicity about how some studios treat webcam models. I just saw an article yesterday. How are you guys able to set yourselves apart? I think it’s basically running as a company, you know, as a serious company, making sure taking care of your models. As you mentioned, yeah, there’s been some media. There was an there’s been an article. It was like a, yeah, like a study that one of these nonprofits, I don’t remember the name. Yeah, they’re doing about it. It’s been some negative media about the studios here in Columbia, which I can say, like, you know, a lot of it that in our article is true. You know, a lot of that is actually happening. There’s a shitload of shitty studios here in Columbia who who have used the girls and don’t provide any value. We have a lot of haters over the years because as I mentioned before, we started the trade association as a sale. And one of the aims of the trade association is to work closely with the government on shutting down in all the legal studios and the studios and don’t don’t meet minimum requirements, you know, minimum requirements to operate on the legal aspect and labor aspect. So that’s that’s like the long term project with the trade association is to be able to actually control and oversee that the studios to operate in the country are doing things the correct way. You better wear a bulletproof vest out there. You are in Columbia, by the way. I know that could be a tough country. I just I just walking around in Cartagena. I tell you, those streets were a little rough. Yeah, yeah. But yeah, we do this, you know, we know how to do our things. You could buy, huh? I understand that it’s part it’s part of growing up there. I’m sure as you you understand how to stay standing and breathing. So what’s the latest with Webcam lab? Webcam lab. Now, we were actually focusing on growing our network of studios. So we will open up a new office, a local office in Columbia, because we have it by territories, we just opened up a new office. And we’re putting in a lot of a lot of effort into AI, more on the analytics side. So we have our affiliate studios, we provide them with a ERP system management software that they get by being part of our network, they get a management system where they can see track and real time stats for other models and different tools, you know, that is useful for them. So we’re putting in more more effort into that, like improving our software, including some machine learning and AI algorithms to make it more useful and a value. So that’s kind of where we focus in more like like tools that would they will impact our whole network in general, make it help to make more money. That’s the name of the game. What do you think is ahead for the Webcam business in the coming years? What’s ahead? Well, a little bit of what I mentioned before, the whole trend of the models becoming more independent. The role of studios, like little by little, like they’re losing strength. And actually, we’ve seen that a lot of Romania, like Romania, from what it used to be a few years ago, like the studio scene, it has been, you know, changing a lot. So basically what I’ve seen now is more of the trend of virtual studios. You know, as I mentioned before, studios that are not having the girls working, you know, coming to the locations, but actually supporting them remotely and providing them different services and different value that we find, you know, very different than what we find in traditions, camp studios. That’s I see a lot of that. I see a lot of, I mean, a lot of growth and maybe crossover collaboration with the fan aspect. When a lot of, we can see it already, a lot of the campsites are launching their own fan kind of versions of fan sites and fan platforms. So that’s a big trend that we’re seeing as well. Because of course, you know, they’re seeing all their models or the traffic is shifting to all of these platforms. So they’re deciding to do their own. And I think that even though the VR still hasn’t really stick, you know, in our industry on camps, I see it like once technology gets more massified, you see it’s also a huge compliment for camps. Why do you think VR has taken so long to take off on the campsite? Well, I think it’s still a niche, still a luxury on the consumer side. Not a lot of users have the headsets and to have the full experience, you have to have the latest, the best headset. That keeps changing. Yeah. Yeah. So, you know, it’s kind of like cell phones when you started, you know, only certain population could afford and could afford to have the best ones. And, you know, I think that’s the same thing. It’s going to be changing. It’s going to get more massive. And when that happens, then I see that’s an opportunity at webcam. I’m still waiting to see the mass acceptance of VR that I expected seven, eight years ago when I first started it, started seeing it coming into adult. When people were doing demos at shows, it’s been that long, if not longer. And I’m kind of surprised that there isn’t more mass production of VR headsets. So the price is down at a level that more people can afford it because it’s still $200, $250 to get a good one. Yeah. No, but I think we are we’re getting there. I mean, you know, now with all the all the all the all the advances that we’re having in hardware, like, you know, like all the GPUs and all basically all this hardware there’s being used for the AI technologies, like that’s also going to impact VR. I think that, you know, the curve is going to be narrow and we’ll probably be seeing more massive usage and massive devices for VR. I mean, there’s some people in adult with content sites doing very well with VR, but not a lot. It’s not it’s not what I expected. It’s a niche. That’s that’s about it. It’s a very niche, but but I think I see a steel believer that will become more massive. Okay, I’m going to I’ll take your word for that. It was kind of kind of like with with 3D. I’m like waiting and waiting. Well, that’s not going to happen. And then with the VR, it’s like, okay, well, it’s kind of happening, but we’ll see. So your company’s been an innovator in the adult space. Is there anything new and exciting coming up in 2025? Well, in the actual camps, as I mentioned, we’re putting a lot of effort into AI. It’s working. It’s a work of progress. Actually, I’m doing a master’s degree in business and data science. So I’m, yeah, I’m actually learning and I want to see how can I utilize that, you know, all these AI development was a high hype into our industry. So I mean, first I started with the basic, which is analytics. So that’s why I mentioned that we’re improving a lot of our analytics platform and integrating a lot of AI and machine learning algorithms to give studios more data, more value. So that’s the, you know, that’s kind of where I’m focusing now. But the ideas keep exploring. How can we adapt more AI technology in our different projects and businesses? Back to school reminds me of Rodney Dangerfield movie. Do you ever see that? No, I don’t. Oh, you have to. Oh, you have to. It’s hilarious. Look it up on Netflix or online. See if you can get it. It’s one of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen. He was a classic. So how can someone find out more about LA LXPO or be a sponsor? My broker tip today is part four of what to do to make your site more valuable for when you decide to sell it later. Last week we talked about keeping your site up to date and making sure everything works. Next, find new ways to monetize your website, such as sell advertising. If you’ve got a free site like a tube, that’s the best way to monetize your site. If you have a tube, another way to make more money is to sell premium memberships, offer free users one level of content, and for premium users, you can do things like give them higher quality or longer videos or both. You can also make the site ad-free for premium members. Start an affiliate program. If you have a pay site, this is a great way to increase your quality of traffic and get more joins. With all sites, you can figure out other upgrades and products you can sell to your users. Pay sites can also sell pay per view, where people have the option of paying by the scene for content they can’t get on the site. This is also another way to charge users as opposed to a monthly fee. Sell them other products like toys and novelties. Market your business. Do things to improve your search engine results. There are some great SEO consultants out there who can help you get higher search rankings in Google. If you want some recommendations, contact us on our site. List all the benefits of your site and your marketing and how they affect the user. And of course, hire a great marketing consulting firm such as Adult B2B Marketing, which we also happen to own. We’ll talk about this subject more next week. And next week we’ll be speaking with Rob Bast of Corp. And that’s it for this week’s Adult Site Broker Talk. I’d once again like to thank my guest, Anthony Rivera of the LAL Expo. Talk to you again next week on Adult Site Broker Talk. I’m Bruce Friedman. [MUSIC PLAYING] [music fades] [BLANK_AUDIO]
